Anything, But Not Everything
Life is made of two acts: deciding what to do, and then doing it. We have never had more freedom to choose, and never been further from choosing.
Head of Engineering at Babbel.
Founder at Activities Matter and Colloquies.
As a Tech Lead for Babbel's 2024 rebrand I led the tech work of 300+ people. I've managed 5 teams and shipped many impactful features across a decade in tech.
By bringing engineering, managmenet and AI expertise to the table I excell at building teams and environments where people are willing and able to innovate.
My apps, Activities Matter and Colloquies, have no retention or revenue pressure. They just solve actual real problems with human-centered design.
Beyond the code
Books are how I stay curious. I'm drawn to systems thinking, behavioral science, and the occasional novel that challenges how I see the world. A good book can reshape how I approach both leadership and life.
There's something clarifying about training for three disciplines at once. It teaches patience, forces recovery, and reminds me that progress isn't always linear. The race is just the celebration — the work happens in the dark mornings.
Cooking is my creative reset. No screens, no meetings — just ingredients, timing, and the satisfaction of feeding people I care about. It's meditative in a way that nothing else quite matches.
From leading engineering teams to building side projects that solve real problems.

Life is made of two acts: deciding what to do, and then doing it. We have never had more freedom to choose, and never been further from choosing.
Claude Max costs $200 a month. At API pricing, that's $1,900 in tokens. I'm building more than ever, and I'm not sure I could do my job without it anymore. That's not a feature. That's a dependency.
I built something successful and felt disconnected from it. That was the moment I realized the craft I'd spent a decade learning was becoming something I didn't fully recognize.
